For our final talk of the season we have invited Ann Cantrell of White Peak Farmers, to make a return visit to Warslow Village Hall.

Ann's talk is entitled ' The History of Hay Meadows'. Hay meadows are ancient systems associated with farming and with which we have a long cultural association. The talk will present a history of hay meadows by taking a look at the different types of meadows that people and animals have developed over hundreds of years, and how and why they have shaped and managed them.

Ann is a farm and wildlife advisor who now works in a freelance capacity having previously had roles with organisations such as Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, Natural England and Peak District National Park.

Doors will open at 7pm to give you time to have a drink, a cake and a chat! No need to book – just turn up. Entrance is just £4 including refreshments.
