Public Transport & Taxis
BUS
The local bus service no 442 operated by High Peak Buses runs between Ashbourne and Buxton travelling through Hulme End and along the B5053 with stops between Warslow and Longnor. The driver will stop on request where there's no official bus stop but make sure it's safe for him to do so please.
MOORLANDS VOLUNTARY & COMMUNITY TRANSPORT
The Voluntary Transport Scheme provides friendly, helpful volunteer drivers who use their own cars to offer transport to those in need. IMPORTANT NOTICE: due to unprecedented demand the service is only currently offering journeys for medical appointments. Minimal charges apply - see website.
TRAIN
The nearest train station is Buxton but services are limited to travelling north toward Manchester with stops at all intermediate stations. You can find timetable information on their website.
For travel southwards you'll need to depart from either Matlock or Macclesfield.
